Ricardo Tosto’s Talent In The Brazilian Legal System

Brazil has the largest Latin America democratic system. It began its constitutional rule more than three decades ago and has manifested plenty of success from its application. Since its enactment, formal bodies have undergone major reforms in their legal systems, rendering changes in administration and staffing. The improved judicial system in Brazil has seen to it that more people receive fast and efficient results. The result of the new constitution has been the foundation for accelerated social developments and a deepened democratic sense in the population.

Brazilian law stems from the Roman law which was applied by the Portuguese during colonialization. It operates per a set of codes and legislations implanted by the legislative power of states, municipalities and the federal rule. Currently, the nation boasts of many legal experts and law students. However, reports indicate that the rule slows down execution of urgent matters through legislation. Ricardo Tosto is an expert legal attorney in Brazil who has honed his skills by working many cases of different niches.

Ricardo Tosto presently works for the legal firm Leite, Tosto and Barros as a partner. He has earned his spot on Brazil’ most prominent attorney in economic affairs. He was responsible for a highly recognized mass litigation case in his firm which received numerous positive reviews. Ricardo has served as the representative attorney for leading companies in Brazil, non-profit organizations and leaders. His experience has not always had a definite atonement to it, but he managed to overcome hurdles by adapting what he terms as ‘the good combat.’ Ricardo encourages his staff to employ legal means in seeing a case gain amicable resolutions. Ricardo’s rates are flexible and are not over-priced for the average Brazilian citizen. He works with all clients using undeterred determination and stated that he has plans to expand his legal firm to meet the changing legal system of the country.

Ricardo Tosto on Potential Constitutional Reform in Brazil

The Brazilian Senatorial Commission on the Constitution, Justice, and Citizenship recently passed a bill that would allow for a direct election in the event of a vacancy in the presidency during the first three years of the presidential term. The bill would also permit Brazilian Law an election if there is no vice president. The measure must now be voted on by the full Senate.

According to Ricardo Tosto, the current constitutional allows for an election should a vacancy occur in the first two years of a presidential term. However, the new bill does not eliminate indirect election completely, but limits the election of the president by congress to the final year of a presidential term. One question that remains to be resolved is the issue of multiple elections of Brazilian Lawyer in a single year, which is prohibited under the constitution. Several senators expressed support for the idea of direct elections, but warned that maintaining the principle of a single election per year was a major consideration.

He built up Ricardo Tosto & Associates into a world leader in dispute resolution and is often called on by high-profile clients. Ricardo Tosto speaks English and Portuguese fluently.
